You are going to be working with the Daytona Method, please read this article carefully before starting your work:
The Daytona Method relies on both a published clip that is used in edit and a _VERSIONS folder containing all versions of that clip. Each clip in the versions folder has a suffix with its version number, which should match the version number of the project it was rendered from.
Update the version number of all your render comps at once. Do not only update the comps you are exporting. You should always check the version number in the name of your comp before rendering**.** This way, we can always find the source file. As a result, there may be gaps in the numbering since not all clips are always rendered.
There is a script installed to make this less cumbersome. It’s called: Project_Items_Renamer
Your project should come with these folders already included:
Create sub folders to keep things organized, especially in the assets folder.
Whenever you create a new solid or adjustment layer, its source should be added to this group. This happens automatically. If you're using many adjustment layers with the same dimensions, reuse the solids whenever possible.
