It outlines the step-by-step process for creating a new project, organizing pages, setting up quick access links, and maintaining the project's milestones and status updates efficiently.

Creating a New Project Entry

  1. Initiation: Navigate to the Project Manager section. To create a new project, click the "+New" button. This action will generate a new entry within the database.
  2. Project Details: Input the essential properties for the project, including:
  3. Template Selection: After filling in the project details, click the "Open" button. Choose a template suited for either Production or Post-Production to initiate the project page creation.
  4. Customization: Once the project page loads, replace the stop icon with the appropriate client icon to personalize the project space. Download the icon here.
  5. Navigation: Utilize the breadcrumb path at the top of the page for swift navigation through different project pages. Keyboard shortcuts Command+[ and Command+] allow for easy movement to the previous or next page, respectively.

Project Setup Checklist

Below the breadcrumb navigation, you will find a "Setup" toggle. This section contains a checklist of tasks necessary for the thorough setup of the project. It's crucial to follow this checklist meticulously to ensure the project's foundation is solid.

While the database within this section should not be modified, it is vital not to delete it to prevent loss of project pages.

Essential Pages

By default, the pages for Planning, Post, and Client Portal are automatically created. These pages are fundamental to the project's structure and should be maintained for effective project management.

Quick Access Links

In the Quick Access section, add links to critical external resources such as the Dropbox project folder, final delivery folder, Slack channel, and Frame.io project. Ensuring these URLs are accessible to the entire team enhances collaboration and information sharing.
