For sending files we have two main ways of sending it

Fromsmash is mainly used for sending ‘small’ amounts of data, for example mp4’s, some final deliveries. The link stays active for 7 days, so keep that in mind if you’re sharing finals for example.
Filemail is used to send large amounts of data, for example sending shots that need clean-up to India or sending replacement projects.
Filemail can automatically downloads files that are being sent to us. To have everything organised correctly you can check if these settings are being used. To access the settings, in the bottom left corner click on Wenneker, then click on app settings. There you can check if these settings are being applied.
On Nairobi we have the filemail app always open so that anything that gets sent to us is automatically downloaded to the Filemail workspace. With the auto-download settings enabled, a date and time of download are added automatically.

With filemail you can also set up portals, basically upload links for external parties. We can only have 10 at the time so please keep that in mind.
