Receiving a review link for the first time
- You can view the video/ asset as many times as you’d like;
- Under the video/asset there is a section where you can add comments. Please make sure that you are as specific as possible. Make sure you are on the right timecode, so that your comment reflects the exact moment where you have feedback.
- If you want to leave any notes or marks on the asset, you can do so by selecting the brush tool which will give you some options such as colours, arrows, lines or you can simply draw freely. If you decide to leave such feedback, please make sure to add a few words explaining what you mean
- After sending your comments, these will show up on the right side of the video/asset, so you can track them back if you wish so.
- After you are done leaving your comments, please change the status. That can be done by clicking on the top right button that says ‘No status’.

Receive next versions of an asset
<aside>
💡 When receiving V2,3 and so on of an asset, you can access these via the initial link shared with V1. The post producer will refer you to that link also. What we do is stack assets, which means that in the same link you can see the previous versions. This makes it easier to compare between versions, but also good to check if the feedback was applied as expected.
</aside>
- To compare between versions you can press on the button ‘Compare versions’ showed at the top left corner. Also, next to the name of the asset, you can see which version you are viewing and by selecting it, you can change it to another version.
- After you click on ‘Compare versions’ you will get the last two versions next to each other, both playable at the same time. Usually the latest version will be at the left, while the previous version on the right. The top part of the assets also share that information: version number, file name and also the date when it was added. In this way you can easily identify the most recent version.
- If you click on either of the titles, then all the feedback/annotations will show up on the right side of the screen in the comments section and the video you selected will have a blue border around it. This is very helpful since you can check if the comments you added in V1 have been applied to V2 while you are watching the assets, so it is easy to keep track of these.

💡 Keep in mind that if you still have feedback and you would like to add it, make sure you have the latest version selected, or exit the comparison mode and double check if you are viewing the correct version. This is needed in order to avoid missing out on important comments that might not be taken into consideration if the information is not in the right place.
