Welcome to the team! We're thrilled to have you with us. Let's create amazing work together!

Welcome to the Team!

Alongside mastering the technical aspects of your role, there’s a vital human element to our work that’s just as crucial. Your ability to manage both personal and administrative tasks will play a significant role in your success here. It’s essential to keep everyone involved in your projects informed about your progress. More importantly, promptly communicate any challenges or setbacks you encounter. Remember, effective communication is the cornerstone of what we do. It’s not just about getting the job done; it’s about how we connect, collaborate, and navigate challenges together. Let’s make great things happen!

Welcome aboard! As you embark on this exciting journey with us, here are some best practices to help you thrive in our post-production studio:

  1. Office Hours: Our day starts at 9:30 AM and wraps up by 6:00 PM. If you need to work overtime, please coordinate with Martijn and the Post-Producer.
  2. Daily Check-Ins: Start your day by posting a check-in note in the CheckIn/Checkout Slack channel. This keeps the team informed about who’s working on what.
  3. Client Reviews: Keep the producer and post-producer updated on your progress with client reviews. Aim to share a draft by around 3 PM on the delivery day, allowing time for feedback and adjustments before the final version is sent to the client.
  4. Communication: Regularly update your producer/post-producer about your projects to ensure everyone is in the loop.
  5. Mindful Work: Avoid autopilot mode. Review the briefings thoroughly, and if anything is unclear, consult with the producer. It’s better to ask questions early to avoid misunderstandings.
  6. Delivery Updates: Inform your producers early if you anticipate any delivery challenges. Prompt communication allows us to find solutions or manage client expectations effectively.
  7. Project Milestones: If you foresee missing a milestone, especially in multi-day projects, notify your producer immediately. We have an overview in place where you can see all the milestones for the upcoming week.
  8. Delivery Checks: Always confirm with the post-producer what needs to be delivered and when.
  9. Quality Control: Review your exports carefully to ensure everything is correct and there are no glitches or missing elements.
  10. Time Tracking: After completing a task, update your time in Float. You can find guidance on using Float here.
  11. Planning Ahead: At the end of each day, check your upcoming schedule in Float. Prepare for future tasks by asking questions, reviewing briefs, or researching past projects.
  12. Proactivity: If you’ve completed your scheduled tasks, consider how you can assist colleagues or get started on upcoming projects. There’s always something valuable to contribute.
  13. End-of-Day Check-Out: Post a checkout note in the Slack channel at the end of your day.
  14. Enjoy Your Downtime: After a productive day, make sure to relax and recharge. Your well-being is important to us.
