Meetings Protocol Post Production

We have a few meetings that are needed for the post-production projects. Some are only needed if there’s a shoot involved. In basis the following meetings needs to be plannend:

• Kick-Off Meeting
  • Needed for every project.
• After Shoot Meeting
  • Only needed if there’s a shoot involved.
• Offline/Online Meeting
  • Needed for edits as full CGI movies
• Project Check-ins (daily or bi-daily)
  • Only needed when a big team (multiple editors, cgi, motion) work on a multi-asset delivery.

Kick-Off Meeting

A kick-off meeting for a post-production project is essential to align the team, set expectations, and establish the groundwork for a successful project. Below the key topics to discuss during such a meeting:

Before starting the meeting check if the asset-list is complete and post-planning is signed off. If not please flag this in the Kick-Off meeting

Team members who are mandatory to attend:

• Post-Producer
• Ex. Producer
• Editor(s)/CGI (depends on the type of project)
• Mediamanager
• Dedicated Motion Designer/VFX (only needed if it is a super/comp heavy project like screen replacement e.g.)
