De quality control voor een video editor die werkt aan projecten omvat het evalueren van verschillende aspecten van de video's om ervoor te zorgen dat ze voldoen aan de vereiste normen. De belangrijke aspecten die moeten worden opgenomen in de quality control procedure:
Start Project
- Assetlist, make sure that the asset list is being prepared based on the briefing and is being signed off by client after PPM and before shoot.
- Planning, is being created in Notion and shared and approved by Client after PPM and before shoot. If it is a full Post Project at least two weeks upfront before kick-off
- Briefing, create a clear proper briefing for artists with all the relevant info and share this whitin Notion.
During Project
- Check video quality and format, including resolution, frame rate, bit rate, and aspect ratio match the input from the asset list.
- Evaluate audio quality, including levels, clarity, balance and for final delivery that all stems are exported.
- Review color grading to ensure it is consistent and no weird artefacts pop up and after updating comp shots correct grading is applied.
- Check editing quality for continuity errors, timing issues, and pacing problems
- Ensure video titles, subtitles, and captions are accurate and free of spelling mistakes
- Check transitions between video clips for smoothness and continuity
- Evaluate the overall pacing and structure of the video for coherence.
- Verify that all legal and copyright requirements have been met for music (only audionetwork), images, and other media used in the video.
- VFX list, makes sure that all online shots are being added to the VFX list.
- Review visual effects and animations to ensure they match based on the briefing/feedback.
- Guidelines, makes sure all guidelines are being followed and checked before a sharing link is created.
