For broadcast we always need to delivery a MXF Master render accompanied by an XML file with the correct metadata. For OmegaPharma (client) we deliver many different TVC’s which is why we developed a delivery tool that takes away a lot of the work. The tool is called ‘The treintjes tool’.
On the OmegaPharma mount there is a folder called ‘_BROADCAST, inside are two folders:
MXF_AND_XML
This is the folder where we store all MXF and XML files that we upload to the broadcaster. Every week we create a folder with the week number for broadcast and inside a folder per broadcaster.

OP_TOOL
This is the folder that contains all ProRes Master files which are used by the tool to create the MXF files from.
<aside> ❗ Never remove, move or rename anything in this folder! If you do, the Treintjes Tool will not work properly!

This is the tool that we use to deliver that spots for OmegaPharma.
Every week the producer will send an overview of the spots that need to be delivered this week. This email will contain the delivery document as well as all the links from the Treintjes Tool. Check that what is in the document matches what is in the links from the Treintjes Tool.

When everything has been checked the client can approve the spots and from the Treintjes Tool we will receive emails at [email protected] for every single spot that needs to be delivered. This email is generated by the Treintjes Tool and looks like this:

First thing to note is whether it says ‘Los opleveren’ or not, if yes you need to supply the spot to the broadcaster. If it says no, then it has already been supplied before and you just need to send the filename to the producer.
