Whenever we need to archive projects or copy rushes we use YoYotta because this verifies it’s copies and you can pause / continue where you left off after a power failure or a system crash. Also you can make multiple copies with multiple destinations at the same time.
Make sure your settings are set as following:
Drag a project folder to the left column of YoYotta, it will then start indexing. Depending on the size of the project, this might take a while. Then drag your destination folders to the right column, you can drag and drop folders from finder or click the + icon. Add as many destinations as necessary. Press the green arrow to start copying, and the red cross to stop copying.
If you want to add more jobs, you can add them on the left column as you did before, and if you copy to the same drive and press the green arrow you can choose “add to queue” to optimise drive speeds. If you have a very fast drive you can copy simultaneously but for regular hard drives that is not a good idea.
